The Project Board is the project's highest decision-making body, for which each partner HEI has nominated a high-level member of their managerial staff. The Board approves project workplans and reports, and is highly involved in the educational reformations in bio-entrepreneurship teaching.
In January, the Project Board had its first meeting virtually to approve the documents and workplans that had been prepared during the Inception Phase. The first Board meeting was chaired by Dr Annukka Pakarinen, Director Research and Development School of Bioeconomy at Häme University of Applied Sciences, Finland.
The Board is chaired on a rotational basis, and Prof Kavwanga Yambayamba from Mulungushi University, Zambia, was selected to continue as Chair for the rest of 2021.
